Legal & Compliance Information
Nature of the Scheme & Eligibility
- Not a Government scheme. Shishu Vikas Yojana (SVY) is a private, CSR-sponsored social welfare initiative operated by A3N IT Services Pvt. Ltd. It is not a Government of India scheme and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any Central or State Government department.
- Not an investment or deposit product. SVY membership is a welfare support programme. It does not offer, promise or guarantee any interest, return, maturity value, profit or capital appreciation of any kind.
- Voluntary enrollment & guardian consent. Membership is entirely voluntary. A child below 18 years must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who confirms at the time of registration that they are authorised to provide consent on the child's behalf.
- Benefits subject to terms. All covers, grants and scholarship amounts are indicative maximum limits and are subject to plan terms, successful document verification, eligibility conditions and the applicable claim process. Disbursal timelines may vary.
- Insurance-linked benefits. Where a benefit is insurance-linked, it is provided through arrangements with third-party insurance providers and is governed entirely by the terms, exclusions, waiting periods and claim procedures of the respective policy. SVY facilitates the process and is not the insurer.
- Non-transferable. Membership and benefits are valid only for the registered student and cannot be transferred, assigned, sold or encashed.
Fees, No-Refund Policy & Fraud Prevention
- All fees are strictly non-refundable. The agency/partner activation fee and the student enrollment (plan) fee, once paid, are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-adjustable under any circumstances — including cancellation, discontinuation, change of mind, non-usage of benefits or termination of membership. Please read the plan details carefully before making any payment.
- Fees are not a deposit. Fees are collected towards activation, administration, verification and arrangement of benefits, and are fully utilised at the time of enrollment. They do not represent a deposit, advance or refundable amount of any kind.
- Official channels only. Fees must be paid only through official SVY payment channels shown on the portal. Payments made to any personal bank account, UPI ID, wallet or unauthorised person are entirely at the payer's own risk and are not the responsibility of A3N IT Services Pvt. Ltd.
- No excess collection. No agent, partner or representative is authorised to collect any amount above the published fee, or to make any promise beyond the published benefits. Such conduct must be reported to our helpline immediately.
- Failed or duplicate transactions. Where an amount is debited but the membership is not activated, or the same fee is charged twice due to a technical error, the transaction is reconciled with the payment gateway/bank and the unapplied amount is reversed. This is a transaction reversal, not a refund of the enrollment fee.
- False information. Submission of false, forged or misleading information or documents will result in immediate cancellation of membership without any refund, forfeiture of benefits and may attract action under applicable law.
Privacy & Child Data Protection
- Lawful processing. Personal data and documents collected during enrollment are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and are used only for scheme administration, verification, benefit disbursal and statutory compliance.
- Children's data. Data of children is processed only with verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.
- Your rights. Parents/guardians may request access to, correction of, or erasure of their child's data, and may withdraw consent, by writing to our grievance contact below, subject to record-retention obligations under law.
- No unauthorised sharing. Documents are kept confidential and are not sold or shared with third parties except service providers, insurers and authorities on a need-to-know basis or where legally required.
Liability, Changes & Disputes
- Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SVY's aggregate liability in relation to a membership shall not exceed the plan fee paid for that membership. SVY is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for rejection of a claim by a third-party insurer as per policy terms.
- Cancellation by SVY. SVY may cancel or suspend a membership where eligibility conditions are not met, documents cannot be verified, or where there is fraud, misuse or breach of these guidelines. No refund of any fee is payable on such cancellation.
- Right to amend. SVY reserves the right to modify plans, benefits, fees or these guidelines at any time. Material changes will be published on the official website, which is the only authentic source of information.
- Force majeure. SVY shall not be liable for delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, network or banking failures, or government action.
- Intellectual property. The SVY name, logo, content and portal are the property of A3N IT Services Pvt. Ltd. Unauthorised use, copying or imitation — including fake websites, apps or social media pages — is prohibited and will be acted upon.
- Governing law. These guidelines are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi. In case of any discrepancy between translated versions, the English version shall prevail.
